GLIZNORM 30 OD – GLIZNORM 30 OD tablet is made with a composition of Gliclazide + Metforming Hydrochloride that belongs to a class of medication known as an antidiabetic. It is mostly used to treat Type II diabetes. Type 2 diabetes is a chronic or lifelong illness that alters how your body handles glucose. People with type 2 diabetes either do not create enough insulin or, if insulin is produced, it is unable to work properly in the body (insulin resistance). As a result, the blood glucose level rises, and symptoms such as frequent urination, increased thirst, and hunger appear. It can cause major complications such as skin infections, eye issues (retinopathy), nerve damage (neuropathy), diabetic foot ulcers, kidney illness (nephropathy), high blood pressure, and even a stroke.
Gliclazide+metformin plays an important part in lowering blood sugar levels in the body since metformin reduces glucose production in the liver while the other boosts insulin release from the pancreas. Gliclazide plus metformin also helps to avoid significant diabetes consequences such as kidney damage (diabetic nephropathy), eyesight problems (diabetic retinopathy), loss of sensation in your hands and feet (diabetic neuropathy), and even foot loss. Gliclazide plus metformin also lowers your risk of suffering a heart attack or stroke. As a mixture of two medications, it eliminates the need to take several pills, making it easier to remember to take the drugs.
