Vilafume-Trio

Vilafume-Trio Inhaler is a prescription respiratory medicine. It is a triple-combination inhaler. It is used for the long term maintenance of chronic respiratory conditions. These include Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and, in some patients, asthma. Vilafume-Trio is used as advised by the healthcare professional. This medicine improves breathing and also reduces symptoms. If used regularly, it can enhance overall lung function. 

Composition: Fluticasone 100mcg + Umeclidinium 62.5mcg + Vilanterol 25mcg

How Vilafume-Trio Works

Vilafume-Trio combines three medicines with complementary actions:

• Fluticasone is an inhaled corticosteroid. It reduces inflammation and swelling in the airways. 
• Umeclidinium is a long acting muscarinic antagonist. It relaxes airway muscles by blocking acetylcholine. This keeps the airways open.
• Vilanterol is a long-acting beta 2 agonist. This is what relaxes the airway muscles and improves airflow.
