
Vonafizz-20 is a vonoprazan 20 mg oral tablet. It is a potent gastric acid suppressant which belongs to the class of potassium-competitive acid blockers. It works by blocking the gastric proton pump in the stomach’s parietal cells. This leads to rapid, profound and sustained reduction in gastric acid secretion. That is if you compare it with traditional proton pump inhibitors. Vonoprazan has a faster onset of action. It does not require activation in an acidic environment.
