Cofscot-LC is a non-opioid antitussive medication. It is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of dry, irritating, and non productive cough. It is mostly prescribed for coughs caused by irritation of the upper or lower respiratory tract. It is not associated with excessive mucus production. The suspension formation allows for easy administration. It also allows for uniform distribution of the active ingredient.
