Formoclear-BS Forte

Formoclear-BS Forte is a prescription inhalation medicine. It is used in the long term management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. It is delivered through a dry powder inhalation device, such as a Rotahaler. This combination helps in controlling airway inflammation. This provides sustained bronchodilation, improving breathing. They also reduce respiratory symptoms. 

Composition: Formoterol 12mcg + Budesonide 400mcg Roto Capsule

Uses of Formoclear-BS Forte

Formoclear-BS Forte is used for:

• Maintenance treatment of moderate to severe asthma
• Long term management of COPD, including chronic bronchitis and emphysema
• Prevention of asthma symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness

It is not intended for the relief of sudden asthma attacks. 

How It Works

Formoterol is a long acting beta 2 agonist. It relaxes the muscles around the airways. This keeps them open for upto 12 hours. This makes breathing easier. 

Budesonide is an inhaled corticosteroid that reduces:

• Inflammation
• Swelling
• Irritation

Together, they provide dual action by controlling inflammation. This maintains airway dilation, leading to better symptom control. They also provide fewer exacerbations. 

How To Use

• Use the capsule only with Rotahaler as prescribed
• Do not swallow the capsule
• Place the capsule in the device
• Inhale deeply through the mouth
• Hold your breath for a few seconds
• Rinse your mouth with water after each use
• This reduces the risk of oral infections
