Pexaglin-MNT
Pexaglin-MNT – Pregabalin + Nortriptyline + Mecobalamin is a combination of three medications: pregabalin, nortriptyline, and mecobalamin. Pregabalin is an alpha-2 delta ligand that relieves pain by altering the calcium channel activity of nerve cells. Nortriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant that raises the levels of chemical messengers (serotonin and noradrenaline), which inhibit the movement of pain signals in the brain. Mecobalamin is a type of vitamin B that aids in the development of myelin, a material that protects nerve fibers and rejuvenates damaged nerve cells. The combination of these medications relieves neuropathic pain.
Mecobalamin+nortriptyline+pregabalin is a combination of three drugs: mecobalamin (vitamin B), nortriptyline (an antidepressant), and pregabalin (an anticonvulsant). The combination of mecobalamin, nortriptyline, and pregabalin is used to treat neuropathic pain caused by diabetic peripheral neuropathy, postherpetic neuralgia, spinal cord injury, and other conditions. Methylcobalamin helps to produce myelin, a material that protects nerve fibers and regenerates injured nerve cells. Nortriptyline works by boosting nerve transmitters (serotonin and noradrenaline) in the brain, which reduces the number of pain messages that reach the brain. Pregabalin relieves pain by interfering with pain messages that go through the brain and down the spine. Methylcobalamin, nortriptyline, and pregabalin assist relieve neuropathic pain.
