VIOCUT 0.3 – This tablet contains Voglibose Tablets 0.3mg that are used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps to control your body’s high blood sugar levels after each meal. It is used when other comparable medications, combined with a limited diet, fail to manage abnormally high blood glucose levels. Take this medication with regular exercise and a healthy diet.
Like other medications, it also contains some adverse effects that do not require any medical attention. These side effects disappear after some time when your body adjusts to the medication but consult with your doctor if you persistently experience these side effects.

However, when used with other diabetic medications (particularly insulin or sulphonylureas), it might cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). Such episodes of hypoglycemia will have to be addressed with simple glucose. If you are using this medication, table sugar or regular sugar will not help you recover from low blood sugar levels.
Take this medication as advised by your doctor and take it with the proper dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Do not chew or crush this medication, swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. You can take this medication with or without food as advised.
Your doctor will determine the dose and frequency with which you should take it to ensure that your blood sugar levels are under control. Do not discontinue taking it abruptly without consulting your doctor. If you do, your blood sugar levels may rise, putting you at risk of severe problems such as kidney damage and blindness.
