• Do not take Zioglim M1 Tablet if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to Glimepiride or Metformin or other sulfonylureas (such as glipizide, glibenclamide) or sulfonamides (such as sulfamethoxazole).
• Zioglim M1 Tablet is not recommended for use in patients with acute heart problems or recently had a heart attack or have severe circulatory problems or breathing difficulties (signs of heart failure).
• Zioglim M1 Tablet is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (under 18 years of age).

Contraindications 

Zioglim M1 should not be used in patients with:

• Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus.
• Diabetic ketoacidosis, with or without coma.
• Severe renal impairment.
• Acute or chronic metabolic acidosis.

There is a known hypersensitivity to glimepiride, metformin, sulfonylureas, sulfonamides or any component of the formulation.
